My husband Christian and I have been married since 2002 and we now have two sweet girls, Dinah, age 3, and our Esther-Bear, almost 2 (!). I went to the University of Georgia and have a degree in Drama. That is not a joke. I love all things theatre, particularly the design aspects.  We love to spend together as a family and we like to take road trips together.  Most frequently we head to nearby Orlando to visit the Disney World (it helps that Granny and Grandpa are there too).

I also have another “day job” (that I actually do mostly at night)…I am one of the Coordinators for our Children’s Ministry at church.  I love our church and I am blessed to be a part of such an important ministry to the families of our church.

Since being home with my girls I have started sewing and crafting again.  My favorite is sewing gifts for people and things for my girls. I love surfing other sewing blogs to get ideas and inspiration. Find me on Pinterest to see some of what I am digging these days.

I decided to start this blog to chronicle my sewing projects…just posting a picture on Facebook wasn’t doing it for me anymore.  I wanted to be able to share more about each project.  I also started this blog with the intent of selling some of my creations.  This goal is currently being implemented!  I am so excited to post my first items and see what sells!
